Scrapper

My soul demanded something in the style of Aftersun for my night melancholy and bad mood. This something was the British film Scrapper, which was warmly received at the Sundance festival last year.

If you close your eyes to the introduction, which you can’t even stretch to call realistic or logical, then the result is a very simple, but sensual and bright film. The problem of fathers and children is eternal, and it can also be very different, which is demonstrated by this film. Without unnecessary drama and snot, without unnecessary secrets and mysteries, but simply as it is.

A huge bravo to twelve-year-old Lola Campbell for her role, she played incredibly well. I recommend it.
