La passion de Dodin Bouffant

Who would have thought that the romance of cooking and sharing a dinner could be much more intimate and erotic than any bed scene that can be found in modern cinema.

An incredibly wise, deep and sentimental film immerses us in the late 19th century, or more precisely in the kitchen of gourmet Dodin and his precious cook and life partner - Eugénie. Their inner connection allowed them to create culinary masterpieces, as well as understand each other at a glance. And despite a 20-year partnership, Dodin never achieved what he wanted most - Eugénie as a wife. Well, almost didn't.

This is such a mature, delicate beauty, in which two accomplished people live for themselves, build boundaries, respect each other and complement each other. The throwing of history into the past adds charm and fairy-tale touches to this, which together weave into a very tasty film to watch.

Watch only on a full stomach.
