Civil War
And then the credits start and you understand that you have watched a deliberately trivial road movie with elements of war and very cliched characters. That's all.
It is filmed very beautifully. I would even say grandiosely, while being believable and without unnecessary pathos. This makes it interesting to watch. In essence, you get a simple film about a complex topic, where a psychological portrait of a war journalist is presented: know the risks, don't play the hero and be ready to press the button at the moment when it is necessary, without thinking about the rest. In a quick course, in a couple of days, one of the main characters goes from a random fellow traveler to a correspondent who captured the death of her mentor, and a minute later took a photo of the day of history books.
The speed of what is happening does not allow you to fully penetrate the narrative and requires either less or more. And you don’t want to look for hidden meanings in this, because the film does not give any prerequisites for this on the screen [but it does in press releases and interviews, and this is not the same].
