Every Song from Endless Summer Vacation, Ranked

Two years later, Endless Summer Vacation still stands as a defining moment in Miley Cyrus' discography. To mark its anniversary, I’m ranking every song from the album—purely based on my personal favorites.

#13 Muddy Feet (feat. Sia)

A totally unnecessary duet that adds nothing to the album, balancing between passable instrumentals and uninspiring lyrics.

#12 Wildcard

While this one has some appeal—especially with the opening line, "Do you wanna play house? I could be your wife"—it ultimately feels too simplistic for its own good.

#11 Handstand

While I absolutely hated it when it first premiered, over time, it has somewhat grown on me. It doesn’t quite fit this album, but it’s a song that belongs… somewhere.

#10 Wonder Woman

Simple and raw. It sounds better live when Miley adds more depth and color with her voice.

#9 Violet Chemistry

While the bridge doesn’t quite land, the rest of the song works as a stylish and well-crafted piece.

#8 Jaded

It still feels like a grown-up Hannah Montana song to me. It’s good, it works, but it’s not something to die for.

#7 Rose Colored Lenses

The directors missed out by not using this song as a soundtrack somewhere.

#6 You

I’d actually say it’s one of the best love ballads in Cyrus’s discography. It feels very genuine and beautiful.

#5 Flowers

When it works, it really works. Thank you, Flowers.

#4 River

It’s kind of sad that the radio killed the song's potential to reach more people. A danceable banger.

#3 Used To Be Young

Self-reflective, honest, and simply touching.

#2 Thousand Miles (feat. Brandi Carlile)

I don’t know if it’s Brandi Carlile's magic or something else, but this one is a true gem that feels even better two years later.

#1 Island

I’d gladly be stranded on an island with this one. An absolute vibe and a fantastic groove.
